ENGLISH
English Language and English Literature.
What a vital skill to learn! English is beautifully creative. It allows us to logically express emotions that can't eloquently spoken in an organized manner. English sessions allow children to grasp appreciation of both Language and Literature in a peaceful one to one environment. If a pupil is struggling in a particular area , the attention and focus of each session can be tailored to their individual need.

During my A-Level study of History a true love for the subject was born.
To enrich others knowledge as part of their History studies would allow a natural passion to be passed on to them.

Biology studies the scientific studies of life. It includes a variety of topics including molecular biology of a cell, to the evolution of different species and much more.

HOMESCHOOLING
Deciding where your child receives their education is an important decision and research shows that the amount of children being home schooled is increasing each year.
Our tutors have experience in working with a variety of students and they will be with you, at every step of the way providing expert knowledge and resources to ensure your needs are met.
11+ Tuition is an amazing tool leading up to your son or daughters exam.
These exams are usually held in September, therefore, the best time to
start is the year before or if they are confident, the tuition can start in
the Spring leading up to their exams (including the summer holidays).
Tuition can be used as a confidence boost (most common request) - this is
when your child has the potential but struggle in small areas. Tuition can
also be viewed as a guide, a bit like armbands, until they can swim on
their own - this is implemented for months or years until they are happy to
face academic challenges on their own. Or as part of their educational
life, adding new challenges and experiences into their academic journey.
At Poppy's Tutoring we offer a variety of tailored 11+ lessons which gives
your child the steps they need to ace the entrance exam.
Please remember that tuition is used to enhance natural ability, this is
why we do not recommend more than one lesson a week.
