Key Stage 2 English and Maths

Hi, I’m Sapphire – an experienced and passionate tutor specialising in Primary and early Secondary education.

Since qualifying as a primary school teacher in 2011, I’ve taught across Key Stage 2 in local schools, led small group interventions, and spent the past five years focusing on personalised 1:1 and small group tuition. I specialise in Key Stage 2 English and Maths – including SATs preparation – as well as 11+ tuition for local grammar schools and early Key Stage 3 support in English and Maths.

My tuition journey began just before the Covid-19 school closures, and I’ve seen first-hand the long-term effects the pandemic has had on children’s learning and confidence. Many pupils continue to carry gaps in knowledge and self-belief – especially in core subjects like Maths and English. That’s where targeted, nurturing tuition really makes a difference.



I’m a strong believer in the power of personalised support. With the right encouragement and a calm, focused environment, children feel safe to ask questions, explore their thinking, and overcome challenges. Whether it’s helping a child grasp a tricky concept or preparing them for an upcoming exam, I always aim to build both skills and confidence – so they leave each session feeling proud and empowered.
